Surry Hills, street art

This street art is located on a wall in Hutchinson Place, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. I'm not sure what it means but I like seeing this sort of random street art in urban areas rather than graffiti or tagging.

  5. Very cool trompe l'oeil image. I like them too. Often they are paste-ups. How about this one? Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  7. The dog certainly looks real. I wonder about the staining on the ground, could it be...?

  8. It is an odd one Jim. A Dalmatian dreaming of a crow! Why I wonder.

  9. The dog is an amazing piece of art! Not sure what the blue bubble and the crow like bird is all about! But it's all interesting.

  13. I like your blue caption spot. Why not fill it in? Um . . . for instance: "I'm thinking this bird should take off!"

    Happy Blue Monday, Jim.

  14. Well who ever the artist is he/she is pretty good. Maybe the blue bubble is for us to put in our own caption. MB

    1. The thought crossed my mind but I couldn't find any information about it. I noticed that there were some tags on and around it recently, which were carefully removed. So somebody thinks it's a valuable piece of street art.
