I swam there often as a kid, Jim, but just as often in a man-made rock pool called ‘the fraz’ at the northern end of Balmoral Beach. Then we’d have to walk our bikes up Raglan Street which was too steep to ride up.
Beautiful view of Balmoral Beach boardwalk. This brings back memories when I would go to the beach there to watch a performance of a Shakespearean play by night light - based round the rotunda. A great experience.
