Mosman, Balmoral Beach, rotunda

The Balmoral Rotunda is located in Hunter Park at Balmoral Beach, in the north shore suburb of Mosman. This bandstand was built in 1930 as part of a beach improvement program and has hosted many bands, festivals and events.

  3. What a great place. I'm sure it has had a lot of use over the years--if only it could talk!

    1. Sometimes it is quite a challenge but this was on Friday, so there weren't many people in the park although there were quite a few along the beach.

  7. OOOO! I was hoping that you would post this one after seeing your photo of Balmoral Beach. This is the memory I have of Shakespearean plays here by night light. And the rotunda still looks beautiful.

  10. We had a lovely old bandstand in the town I used to live in. On Monday evenings during the summer an old brass band would play there.
