Leichhardt, town hall

Leichhardt Town Hall is located on the corner of Norton Street and Marion Street, in the inner west suburb of Leichhardt. It was designed by Drake & Walcotand built in 1888 in the Victorian Free Classical style.

  2. The 1880s must have been a very optimistic, showy era, flushed with gold money, I would imagine. This handsome town hall remind me of Ballarat.
