Darling Harbour, tall ship, Oosterschelde

The Oosterschelde is a Tall Ship from The Netherlands, currently moored in Cockle Bay at Darling Harbour. An International Fleet Review is being held in Sydney this week to commemorate the centenary of the first entry of the Royal Australian Navy's Fleet into Sydney. A number of Tall Ships from around the world make up a fleet which sailed into Sydney Harbour last Thursday.

  1. The tall ships in Melbourne were such a wonderful sight crossing the bay in morning mist. They are so enchanting. I did not see them so close as in this photo. Incredible experience for you.

    1. Luckily there is a small wharf just in front of the ship which provided the best vantage spot for a full frontal shot.

    1. No worries. I've heard a few people confusing bogans with bogong moths. :)

  9. You have some wonderful bridges in your part of the world. So do we, in San Francisco, though I've been in Mumbai for almost six months now. I love to see the tall ships...though I've done most of my cruising on Royal Caribbean...once out of Sydney Harbor.

My bridge is of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link which has helped relieve a little of Mumbai's horrible traffic.
