Campbells Cove, Taronga Wild! Rhinos

This painted rhino sculpture is part of the "Taronga Wild! Rhinos" public art exhibition located around the city to raise awareness and funds for Taronga Zoo’s Black Rhino breeding program and conservation projects. "Golden Baby" was created by Ken Done, one of Australia's most famous artists. This baby rhino, currently located at Campbells Cove at The Rocks, is smaller than the other ones I have featured before. I managed to snap the tall ship Southern Swan in the background just as it was departing.

  2. Love the rhino in golden glory but I am especially fascinated with the romance of the tall ship.

  4. Sydney looks like an interesting city with the tall ships, the bridge, the "golden" rhino.

  6. It is such a shame about the black rhinos. You've captured a splendid image. I like that you included the tall ship.
