Coogee, substation

This heritage listed electricity substation No.141 is located along Brook Street, in the eastern suburb of Coogee. It was constructed by the Municipal Council of Sydney in 1931 in the Interwar Stripped Classical architectural style. It was designed to sympathetically match the adjacent St Brigid's Catholic Church. The extension in front of original building was added in 1953.

    1. They've tried to recreate so much of Britain in Australia that it doesn't surprise me to hear you say that.
