Waterloo, Congregational Church

Waterloo Congregational Church is located along Botany Road in the inner city suburb of Waterloo. This heritage listed church was designed by Herbert S Thompson and built in 1883 in the Victorian Gothic architectural style.

  5. It looks to be in perfect condition, just as it was when the architect visited for the last time in 1883. Well done Waterloo.

    However the surface is way too smooth. Whatever renovators added onto the facade needs to be removed.

    1. Hels, it's rendered brick but I don't know whether that was part of the original construction or it was added later.

    1. Jackie, Plot Australia is a store for business and casual menswear. They once had a chain of stores around Australia but these days they only have this one shop here.
