The Balmain East Ferry wharf is located at the end of Darling Street, in the inner west suburb of Balmain East. The Charlotte is a First Fleet Class ferry acquired by Sydney Ferries in 1985. It is named after one of the eleven ships of the First Fleet that sailed to Australia in 1787 named Charlotte.

The ferry looks so nice and colorful!
ReplyDeleteYES!!! I love harbours and I love the idea of ferries as public transport, similar to trams only prettier.
ReplyDeleteLove the ferries. Very cute looking ferry.
ReplyDeleteThe green, yellow, white and orange color scheme looks unusually friendly. And there is the bridge, behind it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice looking boat - and a beautiful sea! Wish I couldd be aboard now!
ReplyDeleteNice colours, and it looks very workmanlike.
ReplyDeleteA ferry ride is such fun; but the name Charlotte adds a bit of history to its charming photo. Nice job!
