Hay Street, Capitol Square, tram stop

This tram waits at the Capitol Square Light Rail Stop along Hay Street at Haymarket, on its way to Central Railway Station. The Corporation Building is the heritage listed building that can be seen in the background.

  3. That is a wonderful old brick building. The route sign on the tram is clear and to the point.

  4. Are you old enough to remember your city's excellent tram system?
It was a crime, destroying that system.

    1. No, Hels. The last tram line shut down about five years before I was born. They are currently building a new tram line which will be running down George Street in Sydney.

  5. Interesting tram design, as I am now so used to the Melbourne variety. In particula, the front windscreen seems so large and low.

  7. There are a lot of buildings in Sydney which ought to be listed on the conversation list especially the brick-built ones! Can't find many of that sort around anymore!
