This mural is located on a former commercial building along Newington Road, near the corner of Enmore Road in the inner west suburb of Enmore. The mural was created by street artist Fintan Magee.
I looked through his entire website and did not see this image. He's quite talented but definitely projects an ambiguous message. This guy looks like a privateer/bounty hunter. But why? Bet this image causes a lot of comments. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
This must be one of his newer works because i looked for it on Google Street View and in April 2014 the old grey wall was just covered in graffiti tags. Much nicer with the artwork.
It is massive. The hat particularly stands out.
