Brighton-Le-Sands, St Thomas More Catholic Church

St Thomas More Catholic Church is located along Bay Street, in the southern suburb of Brighton-Le-Sands. The parish was established in 1937 and this church was built in 1964.

  4. Ahhh post WW2 churches weren't nearly as beautiful as the earlier ones you have presented. Times were tougher?

    1. Even the tough times before the war we still had a lot more ornate buildings built. They just didn't seem to put as much effort in or spend as much money on public buildings and places of worship in later years.
