Rozelle, Easton Park, mural

This is part of the mural on the amenities building in Easton Park, along Lilyfield Road in the inner west suburb of Rozelle. It was created by Sheo White in 2010 for the Wall to Wall Competition, which seeks to minimise graffiti in the local area whilst offering artists an opportunity to showcase their skills, style and creativity. The mural features various sports and leisure activities that can be experienced in the park. Other parts of the mural can be seen here and here.

  2. I learned more than I ever needed to know about cricket when we were in Australia last year during the World Championships! Seriously, we loved figuring out how it was played.

  6. Very nice piece of artwork. However, it is still a shame that we have to cover buildings with controlled graffiti in order to prevent graffiti.

  7. I loved painting this mural...I spent a week sketching the life in the park and adapted the sketches into the overall design. I could have painted the mural filled with playfully dogs as every dog lover walking their most loved pet wanted their doggy immortalised in the finished painting.
