The Double Bay ferry wharf is located at the end of Bay Street, in the eastern suburb of Double Bay. This family is fishing off the wharf which provides access to the Eastern Suburbs ferry services on Sydney Harbour.
Looks like a nice place to fish. Here in California, people in California are allowed to fish from the piers without a license. Not sure if a license is needed in Sydney. #WordlessWednesday
I just checked and apparently you do need a licence in Sydney. Also people are banned from fishing from some commuter wharves but not sure about this one.
Lovely shot Jim. Beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteThe Eastern Suburbs are lovely, especially on the water.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like good weather to be fishing.

DeleteLooks a bit choppy out there, you don't need a licence to fish off wharves here either, loads of people do it off the piers.
ReplyDeleteA picturesque scene...
ReplyDeleteVery nice scenic image.
ReplyDeleteI love the old ferry wharfs...
