Redfern, street art

This is part of a mural on the side wall of a backpackers hostel on the corner of Chalmers Street and Cleveland Street, in the inner city suburb of Redfern. It features Australian blue tongue lizards and a Sulphur-crested cockatoo.

  1. Stayed in some hostels in Spain a couple of weeks ago. None with murals that I recall.

  4. The blue tongues seem a bit out of proportion with the cockatoo.

  6. Are the lizards really blue (not just their tongues)? Reptiles are so amazing -- this mural is really clever.
