World Square, Lunar New Year, Rat

This fun sculpture has been installed in the World Square shopping centre for Lunar New Year to celebrate the Year of the Rat. ‘The Ratrobats’ are part of a troupe of eight, showing off their acrobatic skills, inspired by the ancient tradition of Chinese acrobats and performers.

  2. I hope you are staying well in these troubled times Jim. We were in Sydney a few years ago around Chinese New Year time and enjoyed all the sculptures scattered around the city.

    1. Everyday life has certainly changed, Jill. Luckily, I have a few photos in storage, so hopefully I can keep posting them for a while.
