Newtown, mural

This is part of a mural painted on the side wall of a supermarket, beside the car park along Lennox Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. Women’s Honour was created in 2020 by Brad Robson, a Sydney-based contemporary painter and street artist. The notable women from the local area were chosen by peers to celebrate empowerment, equality, social justice and inclusion.

  2. Interesting. The drawing is realistic and the color is splashed on.

  4. I wore contacts for years, even in the Australian Outback, how dumb I was.
Now I wear glasses with pride, that´s what this mural tells me.
