Rockdale signs

These signs are outside Hotel Rockdale, a pub on the corner of Princes Highway and The Seven Ways, in the southern suburb of Rockdale. The light box advertising space above the white and blue street signs was changed to commemorate ANZAC Day. 'Lest We Forget' is a symbol of commemoration in Australia and other Commonwealth countries. The phrase means 'it should not be forgotten' and is from a line in Recessional, a well-known 1897 Rudyard Kipling poem.
