Newtown, Dispensary Hall

 
Dispensary Hall is located on the corner of Enmore Road and Reiby Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. This heritage listed building was designed by architect E. Williams and built in 1903 in the Victorian Flemish style as the Newtown United Friendly Society Dispensary. It is now used for retail and office space.

    1. It was a place where they prepared and dispensed medications so I guess they later became known as chemists and pharmacies.
