Pyrmont, wharf

These mounted police officers are patrolling Wharf 7/8 in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont, with a view across Darling Harbour to King Street Wharf and the Sydney skyline.

    Can't understand why police have to ride horses to do their jobs

      It helps them patrol walkways and public areas that vehicles can't acces. This way they can patrol long distances and be seen to have a presence.
