Campbells Cove, tall ship, Southern Swan

The Southern Swan is a tall ship in Campbells Cove at The Rocks, seen here preparing for an afternoon sail on Sydney Harbour. You can see another view of it towards the Opera House here and some photos of a theatrical spectacle called Fire Water at Campbells Cove at night, during the Vivid Festival last year here.

  1. I have seen other tall ships in Nova Scotia but i have never been on one. It would be lovely to have a sail on tall ship!

  12. Thanks for the reminder about the Vivid Festival Julie. I might link my post to my Fire Water post at Campbells Cove during the Vivid Festival last year. I saw something in the newspaper recently about planned light projections on more city buildings for the Vivid Festival this year.

  14. I love tall ships! We so enjoyed a tall ship festival and parade in the late summer of this past year. Wow! That was incredible! I love your photos of Sydney Harbor and I see a glimpse of the opera house! I am determined to see that with my own eyes some time soon!

  15. It demands also to have a desire for life and not only to know how to build a ship - a thought, nicely set in scene by your photography.

    Please have a nice Wednesday.
