Sydney Harbour (Theme Day: Your Favourite Part of Town)

Sydney Harbour is my favourite part of Sydney. This view of the harbour is from Mrs Macquarie's Point, looking towards the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

  13. That's what makes it one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Without the harbour it would just be another city.

  15. There are other wonderful places in Sudney, but I too would have had to pick Sydney's gorgeous harbor. It is one of the top 25 most beautiful spots in the world.

  32. I love this place. I climbed the bridge for my sons 3rd birthday. I arrived at the top, Remembering wonderful people and places and I thought while looking at an enormous golden moon and all that wonderful sandstone, on a gorgeous night. "A Mason Gilding evening" Make sure you see the Opera House when it's illuminated at night. It's done at diferent times for events. Eg: Sydney Festivals and also for Aids awarenss when it's usually red and looks brilliant.
Brian Eno did the last one with Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson opening. With little blue neon lighthouses placed around the Quay... Wonderful! IT's worth getting a hotel for these events and sitting back with the children or a glass of champagne. I wish.

Well when we are exposed to each other - but now I'm certain I look like any other.....prawn.
It's definitely a Sydney Harbour and Opera House thing, I have.
