Erskineville, school

Erskineville Public School is located along Swanson Street, in the inner city suburb of Erskineville. The original heritage listed building was designed by C Blackmann and Varney Parkes in the Victorian Free Classical style building and built in 1883. The bell tower stands above the Boys wing of the building.

  1. A much finer example of architecture than any public school I can remember attending.

  3. Wow built in 1883 just how the thought of how they built this building in that time is mind boggling to me. This building is beautiful!
