These terrace houses are located on the corner of Regent Street and Leinster Street, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. They are two of a row of five built in the 1877 in the Victorian architectural style.

I think they would have been quite symmetrical originally. They've had a few modifications over the years making them less so.
