Paddington, terrace houses

These terrace houses are located on the corner of Regent Street and Leinster Street, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. They are two of a row of five built in the 1877 in the Victorian architectural style.

  1. How elegant! We live in a terrace apartment in Oregon -- but definitely way way more downscale than this beautiful terrace home!

  2. I LOVE most terrace homes, but these two in particular. The wrought iron work on the verandas is beautifully delicate.

  5. Interesting how the stairs in the two homes diverge. I haven't seen that before.

    1. I think they would have been quite symmetrical originally. They've had a few modifications over the years making them less so.
