Circular Quay, Queen Elizabeth

The Queen Elizabeth is the luxury ocean liner currently berthed at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. This view is from the viewing platform beside the Cahill Expressway, above Circular Quay railway station. It made quite a spectacle cruising up Sydney Harbour yesterday morning, alongside its sister ship the Queen Mary 2, which is berthed at Garden Island dockyards.

  1. Nice shot of her Jim! I have never seen her other than a photo. She really is impressive. I like that you got a small boat in beside her to give the pix scale. She is immense!

  10. Nice perspective J. Two icons in one photo (1) The Queen (2) The Bridge. I agree with "2sweet". The tugboat looks so inconsequential next to the grandeur of Liz.

  14. Nice, looks like you had slightly better weather than I did. I got rained on both at the QM II and QE. She's big, but small compared to the QM.
