St Mary's Cathedral, sculpture

This bronze statue of Cardinal Patrick Moran stands beside the stairs leading up to the Cathedral Square entrance of St Mary's Cathedral. It was created by Bertram Mackennal and erected in 1933 to commemorate the third Roman Catholic Archbishop of Sydney. It accompanies the statue of Michael Kelly.

Botany Bay, navigation mark & boat ramp

A plane takes off from Sydney Airport at Mascot, as the sun sets behind it and is reflected on Botany Bay. The navigation mark is near the Foreshore Road Bay Boat Ramp, in the eastern suburb of Botany.

Sandringham, Georges River 16ft Sailing Club

The Georges River 16ft Sailing Club is located along Sanoni Avenue and on the beach, in the southern suburb of Sandringham. The club stands close to where the Georges River meets Botany Bay and was formed in 1927, originally racing 16ft Skiffs.

King Street, Culwulla Chambers and Ashington Court

Culwulla Chambers and Ashington Court are commercial buildings located along King Street. Culwulla Chambers is a twelve storey building built in 1912 in the Federation Free style. Ashington Court is a six storey building built in 1888 in the Victorian Free Classical style.

Newtown, factory

This former factory is located on the corner of Australia Street and Lennox Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. It was originally built as a bakery at the turn of the 20th century and then expanded in 1921 to manufacture clothing until the late 1980s, when it was converted into a residential property.

This street art is located on the corner of May Lane and Caroline Lane, in the inner city suburb of St Peters. It was created by street artist Reubszz.

This memorial stands near the College Street entrance of St Mary's Cathedral. It was presented to the church to commemorate the centenary of the Armenian genocide in 2015.

Richard Johnson Square, monument

The Richard Johnson Obelsik is a Gothic Revival monument located in Richard Johnson Square, on the corner of Bligh Street and Hunter Street. It is on the site of the first church built in Australia, opened on 23 August 1793. The square was named for the first Anglican clergyman in Australia and pioneer farmer, Richard Johnson. This church burnt down on 1 October 1798 and the monument was completed on 19 March 1925.

The former brickworks were transformed into parkland which features a number of ponds and wetlands that attract many animals and birds. This view across one of the ponds is towards the chimney stacks at the north-west corner of the park, near St Peters.

Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Conservatorium High School

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is part of the University of Sydney, School of Music. This is the main entrance, along Conservatorium Road, which is part of an extension that was built in 2001. The original Greenway Building, which sits alongside it, was built as the stables for the nearby Government House in 1821 and converted to the Conservatorium of Music in 1916. The Conservatorium High School is a selective, co-educational and specialist music secondary school also on this site. The raised metal lettering of the signs create shadows on the sandstone facade.

The gate house of the Sydney Mint Museum, along Macquarie Street. A bronze sculpture of Governor Lachlan Macquarie stands in the garden beside it.

Botanic Gardens, Lion Gate Lodge

Lion Gate Lodge was built in 1878 in the Victorian style, originally the home of the Head Gardener in the Royal Botanic Gardens, it can now be hired for functions. It sits just inside the Lion Gate which has the two iron statues, "The Lion" and "The Lioness", standing guard outside. They were presented to the Botanic Gardens in 1912 and were restored in 1989.

This mural is on the back wall of a house along Holmwood Lane, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. It features a laughing kookaburra which has caught a snake in its beak.

Botanic Gardens, The Calyx

These carnivorous plants are part of the "Plants with Bite" display currently at The Calyx, an exhibition space in the Royal Botanic Gardens. It includes glass blown sculptures of these plants standing in a man made pond with artificial smoke.

The Lotus Pond is located in the Royal Botanic Gardens and is linked to the Main Pond. The lotus or water lilies that surround the fountain in the middle of the pond are currently in bloom.

Paddington, Windsor Castle Hotel

The former Windsor Castle Hotel is located on the corner of Windsor Street and Elizabeth Street, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. Originally built as a pub in the late 1880s by Heinrich Dorhauer, only the facade was kept when the building was redeveloped into a residential property.

The Domain, Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool

The Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool, located in The Domain, was once known as the Sydney Domain Baths and is the oldest continuous bathing facility in Sydney. The baths were rebuilt in 1968 and renamed after Andrew Charlton, known as Boy Charlton, a world champion swimmer and Olympic gold medallist in 1924 and 1932. The pool provides scenic views of Wolloomooloo Bay, Sydney Harbour, Garden Island dockyard and Wolloomooloo wharf.

This mural is located on the wall of a terrace house along Church Street in the inner city suburb of Newtown. "Flood Emergency Supply Drop" was created by street artist Fintan Magee in 2012.

Hurstville, Baptist Church

The former Hurstville Baptist Church is located on the corner of Dora Street and Queens Road in the southern suburb of Hurstville. It was built in 1934 in the Inter War architectural style and is now used a youth centre. The church hall was built behind it in 1936 in the same style.

Zetland, East Village, lift

This decorated lift is located in the East Village shopping centre, in the inner city suburb of Zetland. The interior has been transformed into a "Disco Lift" with sparkly rainbow theme decorations, disco lights and music for the annual Sydney Mardi Gras. Tonight is the 41st annual Sydney Mardi Gras parade.

Botanic Gardens, mosaiculture (Theme Day: Green)

This mosaiculture is horticultural art in the shape of a koala, located in the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Silver Falls Dichondra for the body was planted in December and has grown over the summer, while the ears are Spanish Moss.
