Sydney Park, chimneys

A cloudy sky above the chimneys at Sydney Park, in the inner city suburb of Alexandria, on the border with St Peters. These chimneys were once part of brickworks which operated here from 1840 until 1970 before being redeveloped as parkland.

    I love the contrast in this shot Jim. The darkness of the chimneys conveys strength, boldness and even an air of foreboding.
