St Ephraim Syrian Orthodox Cathedral is located in Joseph Street, in the western suburb of Lidcombe. This church which features eastern orthodox and contemporary architectural styles was officially consecrated in 2002.
I don't think Syrian Christians were having a very good time in Syria. Nor anyone else for that matter :( I bet the community in Sydney is very grateful to live and worship in peace.

Tom, Sydney is a very multicultural city and I keep discovering new communities that live here.
