The structures in your photos look like mysterious setting for a futuristic tale. I really like the extreme angles against the vivid skies.

Hey J Bar!Love the metal cranes with the sunset in the background! The bottom of the photos is so heavy and the tops so light!
The light towers make interesting silhouettes against the sunsets. Very cool shots.
Were the two top photos taken on the same day? If so, it's amazing how the sky changes in a matter of minutes...Great Skywatch Friday post!
Yes Nathalie, the sky changed a lot. They were all taken on the same day. The first two were taken about twenty minutes apart and the third one was a couple of hours earlier.
You really liked those lights and it´s so fun to see them in different times of the day.

Never get tired of seeing those shots. The opera house, the bridge. such fond memories of Sidney.
Those are really interesting light towers; never seen any like them! Great skies you captured too! Those towers remind me of the shipping cranes along the shores of Alameda, near my hometown. Thanks for your visit...
Amazing! Thanks for showing such amazing sky!
The changing skies between the two shots makes this all the more poetic.
Those light towers looks so dramatic against the changing skies...Very cool shots !

Beautiful Skywatch entries this week!! Thanks for visiting. Hope your weekend weather is better than what we've got here!!
A great series - I've also enjoyed your light photos further up a lot.
I really like the industrial look to the top photos especially. And the ones in the newer posts of the luminous and smart light are breathtaking! Thanks for visiting me.
You have some nice pictures here. I like the modernistic gas station view. ..
Wow, these shots are spectacular!
Thank you for the visit! :) Nice shots! Are these things really supposed to be...leaning (?) towards the ground or is it the result of a wide angle lens?
Great series of shots. I love when the same area looks so different under different skies. Thanks for visiting me.
Yes AKO, those towers do actually lean that way. I think they were designed that way to provide light right across the boulevarde because they only run down one side.
Very beautiful and interesting photos, I love the different colors at different times.SQ
Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
