The Sydney Opera House presented the first festival of music, debate, light and performance known as Luminous which ran between 28th May and 14th June. The curator was musician and artist Brian Eno, who created the Lighting the Sails artwork. The glowing light artwork projected on the Sydney Opera House morphed and evolved throughout each evening, starting at around 6pm and ending at midnight.

What a great way to show off the opera house. I wonder where the images are from they look like science experiments.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how each of us has taken very different photos of the same thing. Even with the number of shots I took, you have colours here that I didn't see.
ReplyDeleteJim, I really enjoy your blog. Sydney is my hometown but I live in the north of the state now.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone. It was impossible to capture all the brilliant views of Sydney but I tried to capture an essence of what it was like.
