Arncliffe, public school

Arncliffe Public School is located along the Princes Highway, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. It was established in 1861 as the West Botany School. The name was changed to Arncliffe Public School in 1885 with heritage listed buildings such as this one constructed in the early twentieth century.

Arncliffe Public School is located along the Princes Highway, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. It was established in 1861 as the West Botany School. This headmaster's residence was built in 1879. The name was changed to Arncliffe Public School in 1885 with later buildings constructed in the early twentieth century.

This mural is on the wall of a pedestrian tunnel, under the railway line in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. Students at the nearby Al Zahra College provided drawings centred on the school's vision and purpose, which the artist used to create this mural.

Earlwood, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, bell

This bell is in the grounds of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church along Homer Street, in the inner west suburb of Earlwood. It is dedicated to pastors at this church from 1928 to 2002.

An afternoon view up the Parramatta River from the Elizabeth Street Bridge, in the western suburb of Parramatta. Altitude Tower is a 54 level apartment building along Church Street, built in 2017 and Meriton Suites is a 36 storey hotel standing beside it, built​ in 2016.

The Federal Buildings are commercial and residential buildings located along Oxford Street, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. They contain a row of shops on the ground floor and flats above on the first floor.

 This sculpture is in the grounds of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church along Homer Street, in the inner west suburb of Earlwood. It was created in 1947 to celebrate the silver jubilee of the first mass here in 1922.

Wolli Creek

A view of Wolli Creek where it flows into the Cooks River, from the inner west suburb of Tempe. The apartments dominate the skyline in the southern suburb of Wolli Creek and the parkland is in the south western suburb of Undercliffe.

Maroubra, South Maroubra Life Saving Club

South Maroubra Life Saving Club is located in Arthur Byrne Reserve, off Marine Parade, in the eastern suburb of Maroubra. the club was established in 1907 and the clubhouse built in 1970 was extended and refurbished in 2012. It is now also home to Horizons, a function centre.

Maroubra, pavilion

The Paddy Bastic Pavilion is located in Broadarrow Reserve, off Marine Parade, in the eastern suburb of Maroubra. Originally known as Maroubra Pavilion, it was renamed in 2018 to honour a local identity. It features a restaurant, kiosk and amenities for beachgoers plus a tower for life guards to monitor the beach.

 A couple of surfers paddle out to catch a wave in the ocean as a group of children play at the northern end of Maroubra Beach, in the eastern suburb of Maroubra. The Big Rubik's Cube was originally a plain concrete block serving as a stormwater drain cover but in 2008 was painted by local artists overnight.

Rookwood, Elephant House

  This pavilion, originally known as the Anglican Rest House and later renamed the Ornamental Rest House, is located in Rookwood Necropolis, the cemetery in the western suburb of Rookwood. It was built in 1878 in the Victorian style near the former railway station. Later, staff nicknamed it the Elephant House because it looked like the original Indian Elephant House at Taronga Zoo.

Sans Souci, Bonney Street Wharf

These clouds above Tempe Recreation Reserve are reflected in Cooks River, which creates a natural border between the inner west suburb of Tempe and the southern suburb of Wolli Creek.

Bondi Junction, art

 This artwork is on display in Westfield shopping centre, in the eastern suburb of Bondi Junction. This "G'Day" sign is part of an exhibition by artist CJ Hendry called "Straya", which is Australian slang for “Australia”. The exhibition celebrates Australian slang using custom street signs with slanguage and sayings installed in locations around Australia. Others signs installed in cities, towns and the outback include: "Aussie", "Old Mate", "Bewdy", "Noice", "Avago", "Hard Yakka", "Brekky", "Hoo Roo", "This Arvo", "You Beaut", "Yeah Nah", "Easy As", "Woop Woop", "Ken Oath", "Cashed Up Bogan" and  "Chuck a U-ey".

Arncliffe, houses

"Gladstone and Wentworth" are  semi detached terrace houses located along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. These heritage listed houses were built in 1886 in the Victorian architectural style. They have had some restoration work completed recently which includes a new colour scheme. McMahons Point, houses

This pair of two storey semi detached houses are located on the corner of Union Street and Thomas Street, in the north shore suburb of McMahons Point. This heritage listed building is designed in the Federation Filigree style with Art Nouveau influences and built in the first decade of the twentieth century.

Zetland, mural

This mural is on the side of the Zetland Hotel, located on the corner of Bourke Street and Elizabeth Street in the inner city suburb of Zetland. It depicts a hole in the wall with a view of the bar and patrons inside.

Stanmore, St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church

 St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church is located along Clarendon Road, in the inner west suburb of Stanmore. It was built in 1916 in the Federation style.

Sydney Olympic Park, Brickworks

This heritage building is located along Marjorie Jackson Parkway, in the western suburb of Sydney Olympic Park. This is one of the remaining buildings located at the former State Brickworks which operated on this site from 1911 until 1988. The brickpit became a pond with the elevated Brickpit Ring Walkway above.

Sydney Olympic Park, Ken Rosewall Arena

The Tennis Centre is located along Rod Laver Avenue, in the western suburb of Sydney Olympic Park. The main stadium was recently renamed Ken Rosewall Arena in honour of Australian tennis player Ken Rosewall. It was constructed for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and redeveloped in 2019 to become a multi-purpose indoor arena. The avenue is named after another tennis legend Rod Laver.
