Woolloomooloo, The Bells Hotel

The Bells Hotel is bounded by Cowper Wharf Roadway, Bourke Street and Lincoln Crescent, in the inner city suburb of Woolloomooloo. This heritage listed building was designed by Spain & Cash and built in 1922 in the Inter-War Free Classical style. Sydney Tower and the MLC Building sneak into the view in the distance.

Concord, Uniting Church


This Uniting Church is located on the corner of Concord Road and Sydney Street, in the western suburb of Concord. This heritage listed church was designed by J.C.R. Mills and built in 1927 in the Inter-War Romanesque style. It was a Methodist Church until 1977 when the Congregational Union in Australia, the Methodist Church of Australasia and the Presbyterian Church of Australia joined together to form the Uniting Church in Australia. It is now a Sydney Cheil (Korean) Uniting Church. It's a shame they've now erected a giant road sign which blocks the view from the main road.

Alexandria, mural

This mural appears on the side wall of a shop on the corner of Mitchell Road and Buckland Street, in the inner city suburb of Alexandria. It was created by artist Sheila Tan to commemorate the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The soccer legends featured are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé.

The Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel is located on the corner of Cowper Wharf Roadway and Bourke Street, in the inner city suburb of Woolloomooloo. This heritage listed building was formerly the Macquarie Hotel, designed by Ernest Lindsay Thompson and built in 1922 in the Inter-War Free Classical style.

Centennial Park, Frog Hollow

Frog Hollow is a formal garden area in Centennial Park, in the eastern suburbs. Originally the site of an open drain, Frog Hollow was established around the turn of the 20th century in the triangle formed by Grand Drive, Dickens Drive and Parkes Drive.It features nine circular garden displays planted with coloured and patterned plants such as this display currently in bloom.

The Dobroyd Aquatic Club is on the shore of Iron Cove, in the inner west suburb of Rodd Point. It provides launching ramps for yachts, skiffs, dinghies and windsurfers. On this day, a windsurfer can be seen sailing past.

Alexandria, mural

 
This mural appears on the facade of a picture framing shop on the corner of Mitchell Road and Buckland Street, in the inner city suburb of Alexandria. This humorous artwork features an Australian white ibis dressed as a hip hop artist complete with a crown, sunglasses, sneakers and a gold dollar chain. The ibis has come to be regarded as a problem species in urban areas as a result of their scavenging activities, scattering rubbish from tips and bins in the process. The species has acquired a variety of colloquial names such as "bin chicken",
 "bin chook" and "tip turkey".

King Street Wharf, Sydney skyline

This view across Darling Harbour to King Street Wharf and the Sydney skyline is from Wharf 7 at Pyrmont. The Friendship is a First Fleet Class ferry acquired in 1986 that is part of the fleet that operates on the Inner Harbour routes. It was named Friendship, after the one of eleven ships of the First Fleet which sailed to Australia in 1787. It stops at Barangaroo ferry wharf and Pyrmont Bay ferry wharf, on either side of Darling Harbour.

Westfield Sydney, chandelier


This giant chandelier hangs near a Pitt Street Mall entrance of Westfield Sydney. Formerly known as Centrepoint, the shopping centre is bounded by Pitt Street Mall, Market Street and Castlereagh Street, with Sydney Tower above. They chandelier can change colours but it is currently set to pink. A lot of businesses have jumped on the Barbie movie bandwagon, selling pink products and creating pink displays in their shops and retail spaces.

Queen Victoria Building

This view of the Queen Victoria Building is from the corner of Market Street and George Street. The heritage listed building was completed in 1898 in the Romanesque Revival style. It was restored in 1986 as one of the city's prime shopping centres.

This is part of a mural on the wall of the Marrickville Metro shopping centre, along Victoria Road in the inner west suburb of Marrickville. "Vicars: A Tribute to Marrickville" was created by Alex Lehours as a celebration of the location, the former Vicars Woollen Mills on this site, the suburb of Marrickville and its rich history as well as the people of the area, past and present.

McMahons Point, boatyard

This boatyard is located on the shore of Berrys Bay, in the northern suburb of McMahons Point. It is operated by Noakes Group which does maintenance, repairs and complete refits of vessels from sailing dinghies to ferries, tall ships, work boats and world-girdling cruisers.

Quay Quarter Tower

Quay Quarter Tower is located along Bridge Street, between Young Street and Phillip Street near Circular Quay. The building in its original form was known as the AMP Centre which was built in 1976 and consisted of 45 floors. The structure underwent a redevelopment designed by Peddle Thorp & Walker, which increased its height, width and modernised the entire form and design. It reopened as the Quay Quarter Tower in 2022 with 54 floors.
