"Angled Wheels of Fortune" is a sculpture located at Fitzroy Gardens, outside the police station in the inner city locality of Kings Cross. It was created by sculptor Dennis Wolanski and gifted to the City of Sydney by an unknown donor in 1988. It consists of six, bronze circular shapes which are interlocked. Each circle has two triangular shapes cut into them to create a negative space.

It's pretty.
ReplyDeleteFascinating sculpture!! I wonder what the artist was thinking...does this symbolize something, or was he just pleased with the various shapes. Whatever the case...a neat creation!
