This view of King Street Wharf at Darling Harbour and the Sydney skyline is from Pyrmont, at sunset, just as the clouds rolled in from the east.

    Ann, that silver building is the Asteron Life Insurance building. It's usually bluish but since it's mostly glass, its colour changes with the sky. You can see what it normally looks like if you click on the link in my post.

    Joan, on this day I was around the other side of the point but when I noticed the colours in the sky, I had a feeling it would look quite spectacular over the city skyline so I drove around the other side to take this snap.

    Ann, I believe São Paulo in Brazil has the largest population but Sydney is quite big too.
