These interactive light installations at The Rocks were part of the Vivid Sydney Festival. The first at Playfair Street was like a giant game of "tetris", the tile-matching puzzle video game, that included this police sign design. The second in First Fleet Park was a giant game of "noughts and crosses" otherwise known as "tic-tac-toe".

That noughts and crosses game could go either way Jim!!
ReplyDeleteThat must be a fabulous festival to see!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I would have liked to seen it myself!
ReplyDeleteSo that's what the top one was. I thought it was some kind of promotion for the Police force.
ReplyDeleteAnn, there might have been some tie-in with the Police, just like the one I featured last week with the Census. There's not much info on each artwork on the website this year and I'm kicking myself for not photographing all the information boards as I went through.

ReplyDeleteI like that sign, watching it must be fascinating.

ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues? A few of my blog visitors have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari. Do you have any suggestions to help fix this issue?
ReplyDeleteKaren, I have had some reports of problems but I'm not technically savvy enough to give you any advice.
ReplyDeleteVery cool signs!
