Balmain East, wharf

The Balmain East ferry wharf sits at the end of Darling Street, in the inner west suburb of Balmain East. It has the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Harbour Control Tower at Barangaroo as a backdrop.

  1. The Harbour Control Tower at Barangaroo was necessary and functional, but not an attractive addition to the beautiful harbour and the stunning bridge. The ferry wharf was more sensitively designed than the control tower, I think.

    1. Hels, there are plans to demolish the tower soon so I'm taking historic photos of it while it's still around.

  2. Sydney Harbour is beautiful no matter from where the photo is taken from & this is no exception.
