These ripples add charm to this otherwise drab canal that runs through Frank Downing Sportsground, in the in the north western suburb of Putney. Grove Creek empties into Morrisons Bay on the Parramatta River.
You're right, when a canal has still standing water, there's not much to look at (except for a reflection, of course!) Great capture of the ripples Jim!
