Bexley North, railway station

A view of the entrance to Bexley North railway station from Bexley Road, in the southern suburb of Bexley North. The big orange "T" sign is found at entrances of all train stations around Sydney. The signs on the fences announce that the entrance will soon be upgraded, with a lift installed to provide better access to the platform.

  1. I'm surprised a lift wasn't added quite some time ago.

    1. They've been installing them throughout the suburbs over the last ten years. I guess this is one of the stations that wasn't a top priority.

  3. Oh, last time I was in Sydney it was 1995 and I cannot remember if they had these signs back then.
I only remember I had to ask random persons to take the tube, those huge maps were a mystery to me ;-)

  5. I like the idea of a lift. I had an ankle injury a couple years ago and stairs became difficult.

  6. Yes a Lift is a good idea and necessary. I am just about to go to Australia for 6 weeks but have all my post scheduled in (bit of a marathon that was!) Unfortunately I will not be commenting while I am away but as often as I can will look at bloggers posts.
