Petersham, shops

This row of shops is located on the corner of New Canterbury Road and Maria Street, in the inner west suburb of Petersham. The facade of the building features some surviving elements of decorative mouldings and floral imprints.

  1. The decorative features were probably painted in a contrasting color when new. We have similar decorations on our home and have them painted in a gently different color.

the decorative items, door surrounds and window surrounds are lost, unless they are painted in a very gently different colour.

    1. Its a shame that they replaced two of the arch windows with a rectangular one. I hope they properly restore those one day.
