Camperdown, University of Sydney, Main Building

The Main Building is part of the Quadrangle Group of buildings on the University of Sydney campus, in the inner city suburb of Camperdown. It was designed by Edmund Blacket and James Barnet and built c.1854 in the Victorian Academic Gothic architectural style. The main entrance and clock is viewed from the opposite end of the Quadrangle.

  1. Are the student's going to school there, or Closed?

    1. No face-to-face teaching on campus yet. All teaching and learning is being delivered online.

  2. Such classic architecture - very nice. I bet it misses the chatter of students.
    Thanks for linking up at

  3. I always admire architecture that has stood the test of time as this one has! Thanks for sharing this bit of history with us!

It's great to see you at 'My Corner of the World' this week!
