Coogee, Dunningham Park

The entrance to Dunningham Park, leading up to the entrance to Giles Baths on Dolphin Point at the northern end of Coogee Beach, in the eastern suburb of Coogee.

    1. It's just a standard design for park entrances from a bygone era, probably about a century ago.

  4. So if it's named Dolphin Point do they get many Dolphins there?

    1. The headland was renamed in memory of the six members of the Coogee Dolphins Football Club who died in the Bali bombings in 2002, while on an end of season trip. A memorial is also located in the park. 200 people were killed, 89 Australians, by the two suicide bomb attacks on the Sari and Paddy's nightclubs in Bali's Kuta beach tourist district.
