Alexandria, warehouse


This former industrial building is located on the corner of Mitchell Road and Fountain Street, in the inner city suburb of Alexandria. It previously housed the Antique and Design Centrewhere a number of separate dealers sold antiques, collectables and designer items in retro styles. It was redeveloped in 2017 and now houses the Grind Pantry restaurant cafe and apartments.

    1. Yes, the unsympathetic design of the additional levels above, do look unusual.

  2. I can see 2 different textures of building materials there, as for the antique shops I would be checking those out if they were still there.
