Central Park Mall is bounded by Broadway, Chippendale Way, Central Park Avenue and Carlton Street, in the inner city suburb of Chippendale. This shopping centre on six levels features fashion and lifestyle boutiques, supermarkets, eateries, cinemas and an outdoor space. One Central Park are the two apartment buildings which tower above. The vertical gardens were a collaboration between French botanist Patrick Blanc and the architects Ateliers Jean Nouvel. The native Australian plants, flowers and vines stretch over 50 metres high, making it the world's tallest vertical garden.

The vertical gardens is a very unique feature and an added benefit is that it is good for the environment.

ReplyDeleteOur country is also adopting the concept of growing vertical garden on the buildings. I loved the concept and your capture is beautiful. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
