This view of ferries moored at Circular Quay ferry wharves is from Circular Quay railway station. In the distance, across Sydney Harbour are the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. These Sydney Ferries are moored here overnight after ferry services have concluded. The Alexander is a First Fleet Class ferry acquired in 1986 that is part of the fleet that operates on the Inner Harbour routes. It was named Alexander, after the one of eleven ships of the First Fleet which sailed to Australia in 1787. The Bungaree is an Emerald class ferry which entered service on Sydney Harbour in 2017. It is named for an Aboriginal Australian from the Broken Bay area, who was known as an explorer, entertainer and community leader.
