
These ferries make their way across Circular Quay in front of the Sydney Opera House Sydney Harbour Bridge, viewed from the Circular Quay ferry wharves. The Scarborough is a First Fleet Class ferry acquired in 1986, which is part of the Sydney Ferries fleet which operates on the Inner Harbour. It was named Scarborough, after one of eleven ships of the First Fleet that sailed to Australia in 1787. The Balmoral is an Emerald class ferry operated by Sydney Ferries, which entered service on Sydney Harbour in 2017. It is named Balmoral after a locality on the North Shore.
