Petersham, railway station

These stairs with ornate lamps are at Petersham railway station, in the inner west suburb of Petersham. This is the northern entrance along Terminus Street leading up to the footbridge over the station. The station opened in 1857 and is served by Sydney Trains T2 Leppington & Inner West Line and occasional T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line services.

  1. Beautiful blue sky and lovely ornate staircase but - all those stairs! I hope there is a elevator for those unable to manage them.

    1. Yes, there has been a lift installed. You can see the doors and sign at the top of the stairs.
