Darling Island Apartments and Ballaarat Park are on Darling Island Wharf at Pyrmont Bay, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. The warehouse buildings on the wharves were were once part of Sydney's port facilities and have been redeveloped into apartments, office space and restaurants.

ReplyDeleteHi, Jim. Here in Kansas, the big city of Kansas City (home of the Chiefs) they have been redeveloping warehouses to apartments and stores. I really like this. It spruces up a part of the city that is normally not 'pretty'.

DeleteThat is a fine looking apartment building. The apartments must have plenty of light with all those large windows and porches.
ReplyDeleteI would have walked there Sunday morning but a half marathon was blocking off all the roads....gave up 3kms in and went home...Lovely spot for an early morning walk, taking in all the piers.
