Bronte Beach is a popular beach on Nelson Bay, in the eastern suburb of Bronte. This view to the Pacific Ocean is from Bronte Park, centred on the lifesaver patrolled area of the beach between the flags.
I was down there for dinner immediately prior to Christmas with a friend. I had no idea that was called Nelson Bay, indeed never heard it referred to as that ever before. It is a gorgeous beach, much more so than this image might tell.
A day or two on that beach would be a nice break from using my snowblower and shovel and hat and mittens and scarf and winter coat and boots and ......
This shot really warms me up! I'm sitting in 40 degree Fahrenheit temps....lots of wind too! Nice to know it's warm somewhere else! Happy new year to you!
