Glebe, Johnstons Creek

This footbridge over Johnstons Creek is located in the middle of Bicentennial Park, in the inner west suburbs of Glebe.

  1. This footbridge does look unique and funky. I only spotted a few made of wood in rural Victoria. This is great shot

  2. Looks more like a stormwater drain than a creek but the bridge and palm give it character.

  3. Joan, that part of the creek would be described as a stormwater drain but further back it's more natural.

  6. Hello! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I'm getting tired of Wordpress because I've had problems with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

  13. There seems to be an excess of wood in what is after all a small and short footbridge!

  14. It always delights «Louis» when contributors post TWO bridges as you did this week! Gerald in the U.K. does this, too. The more the merrier!

  15. Very nice article and straight to the point. I am not sure if this is actually the best place to ask but do you people have any thoughts on where to hire some professional writers? Thx :)
